Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem? Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Okay... Games on Sunday, afternoonish.... Say, 2pm. Barb will probably be in town if people need rides (weather permitting).

Griff, I know that you and the SO will be moving, but if you feel like taking the afternoon off, lemme know and I'll give you address info. I live in Fairview, myself.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

Elena, meeting up to hang out on Sunday might be nice. A day off would certainly help the stress levels if nothing else and the bulk of moving will be happening Friday and Saturday so we can claim it as a celebration.

Will have to get back to you about Sunday...B. may have already made plans.

Just to keep you updated on my sensory saga, the cortisone did not work and I still cannot smell or taste anything. Well, I could sort of taste the hamburger I had at the Canada/Sweden hockey game last night but that totally wasn't worth it!

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, Megan.... I'm assuming that you'll call the ENT today? Assuming that they are open.... Anyway, let us know if you need anything, or have any questions.

Griff, mail me at my profile address and I'll give you details.

I'm on hold with the office right now (and it's fucking great). I love the Panflute/Neil Diamond muzak medley so much!

Thanks for all the fish.

I'm just hoping it isn't Christmas muzak.

I actually got to talk to the doctor! He's really confused because I had the highest dose of Corisone that is safe, I'm on the maximum dose of steroid spray, and I'm taking allergy pills. He's going to have his receptionist call me and book another appointment to talk about "removing some tissue."

Ick. Poor Megan!

Hopefully the doctor will figure out what's going on and get you fixed without 'removing some tissue'. But look on the bright side, atleast you're not having to deal with America's health care system on top of the icky sickness.

Thanks for all the fish.

The operation isn't so bad - just be very adamant about no packing afterwards. Brian says that the second time wasn't as bad as the first.

I will wear a sign when/if I get the operation:

Do NOT pack my nose when finished
