Thanks for all the fish.

I think that it's mostly over, here. How was Christmas?

It was nice. We didn't open gifts until 4:30 when my nephew arrived so there was a lot of waiting during the day. (And peeling potatoes.) I got some clothes, a disc man, and a very fugly cat clock. Then we ate, and watched my nephew play with his Harry Potter game, then watched my nephew play with my kitten.

Yes, the whole holiday revolves around my nephew. Thank god he's cute and sweet. He bought presents for my cats with his own money. How adorable is that?

I'm looking forward to getting back home though. (But not to work.)

Thanks for all the fish.

I have to work Monday, then not until the 3rd. Excellent long visit with Trudy. I just wish my sister and I didn't .. .. grate so much. There will be lots of lounging and movie watching. When are you back?

I'll probably be back Saturday. I have to work on Monday, sadly. Though Monday and Tuesday will be very, very quiet, I bet.

All my siblings grate on me in one way or another. Though, where there are four of us, the grating is diffused. Maybe that's why we focus on the nephew so much.

Thanks for all the fish.

I think that my sister goes out of her way to grate on me. And then when I choke back the anger and refuse to respond in kind she'll comment on how much better we get along since I've learned how to behave... .. t deep breath Okay, I will not let this bother me.

It's raining now.

Thanks for all the fish.

I have to work Monday until 7. I propose a massive Buffista dinner. (including Gryffin and SO) at a restaurant to be determined soon.

Oh my siblings have all kinds of mind games. Being totally crazy and bossy and then claiming that she's the only sane and right one is a paticular favourite of one of my sister's.

I would just like to point out that Monday is Martini night at the Fireside, so maybe we can go there for after dinner drinks, even if we go soemwhere else for dinner.

Thanks for all the fish.

See, that's my main motivation for going out on Mondays.... ... .. ..

Yeah, I hate it when the crazy person tries to act like they're not crazy.

With my sister, she really thinks she's the only sane person in a world of madmen. It's bizarre when you realize that's her world view.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

Dinner on Monday... That should certainly be possible. I'll have to check with The Sleeping One when she wakes up to confirm, but it sounds good to me.

As for places to go, the two of us usually eat at one of the Bayers Lake resturants (Jack Astor's, East Side Mario's, etc) since they're so close by. But I'm always up for a new place, just so long as there's enough parking for my Beast to find a spot.

For easier contact, you folks can catch me on both Yahoo Messenger and AIM under the name of HippieGriff.

Hope to nosh with ya Monday.
