Oh, and Giles' line "It's like nothing we've faced before" was so very Restless, only without the singing.
Oh and did I mention that I'm losing my sense of smell and taste? I couldn't taste my dinner last night. *sigh*
'Lies My Parents Told Me'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Oh no! Call that ENT post-haste!!!!
Hey Herb! Are you the Herb that's one of the admins of Whedonesque? Welcome!
I liked the Willow possession scene a lot. It showed just what kind of power they are dealing with, though Willow shouldn't be such a wuss and refuse to use her powers.
That was a good scene!
I also thought the fights were shot strangely...It was like the person on the steadicam wasn't so steady. Or they really needed a steadicam.
Giles being dead is supported by the fact that he didn't touch anything and he had the proto-slayer carry the Watcher's council books and papers.
But does that mean he's working for the first? So he's really trying to screw Buffy up? Or is he possessed by good forces?
I won't believe Giles is dead until I see it.
Dru felt off to me too. When Spike made the comment that the real Dru was crazier, I thought "that's it!" So I'm fanwanking that the reason Juliet's performance felt "off" to me is that it wasn't really Dru she was portraying, but someone pretending to be Dru.
I'm reaching...

NO!!!! I just knocked on several (wooden) desks for you. Get to the doctor!
I enjoyed the ep, but was really annoyed by the Spike drowning thing. Maybe he just doesn't like getting water up his nose? Very careless of them. I also felt like a scene had been left out - there was no explanation of why Annabelle would run out. She and Molly were v.v. irritating, but I liked Kennedy, the American one.
I really like how Principal Wood is being presented. He's sinister, but I still have no idea if he's good or bad. Yay!
I also found the end of the episode really confusing. I thought Buffy was giving up and then suddenly she wasn't. I didn't liike the heroic music in the background during her up-and-at-them speech, either. Towards the end of it, Joanne said "And now the house explodes," which made me laugh - it was very reminiscent of Quentin Travers' annoying speech.

Bwaaaa!

I'm going on Friday so I'll monitor my progress/decline until then.
I liked Molly's T-shirt.
Sue, I don't think Giles is bad, I think he's a good ghost.

Guess whose brain just went to Giles/Phantom Dennis slash?
I'm not convinced Giles is dead. Certainly, ME wants us to think that he's dead. Which means he isn't, because that's what they want us to think. But maybe they know we'll think that they want us to think that so we'll think that he's not dead. Which means that he is. Dead. damn
My line of thought about Giles is similar to Jon's. But I'm seriously in denial, so it ends with him being not dead.
I also have a similar line of thought about Principal Hottie being evil.

Mine does too, but the sentence structure to convey that was too confusing.
Ditto on Principal Hottie.
