Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

No turkey here; we had roast pork and apple pie instead. One of the nicest things about doing your own T-giving is that you don't have to cater to any of the traditions you don't like.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Break a leg, Ouise.

(though that seems unlikely for your demographic participating in this activity)

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Thank you! The ~ma was definitely working - I felt that the exam went very well. I had plenty of time to go back to the questions that were taking too long, and some time for checking (at least I made sure that I filled in the right circle on the answer sheet).

I spent the last two days at my mother's house because my downstairs neighbour is taking revenge for me complaining about his music - I got woken up at 4:30 am on Monday by an especially erratic beat. I didn't have the time to deal with it, so I just moved out for a couple of days. I missed my cats, though. It's good to be home. Hopefully I'll still feel the same way in the morning.
