Xander: Just once I'd like to run into a cult of bunny worshippers. Anya: Great. Thank you very much for those nightmares.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I can't even.

He was here before heading to that secret summit down your way. People went a little nuts, hearkening back to those halcyon days of having jobs and not setting people in other countries on fire.

It isn't actually raining here today (first time since Monday) and it is pleasant and cool (20). I wish I could bottle a day like this and take it with me to Pennsylvania in a week.

We are having the same weather.

My friend in DC said it was also pleasantly cool there today. Maybe Hurrican Alex sucked up all the heat in its wake.

Uh oh. Sue, look out! You're trapped in a 70s B movie!

Or possibly, the Maritimes.

Hey Crazy Sue... let's go have lunk!

I am not crazy. I am an oasis of sanity in a tempestuous ocean of madness. I am, as my friend Jamie Windsor noted in 1988, the sanest person he knows.

Okay, so I haven't seen him since, it's still true.

Has he been seen since at all? Were the two of you last seen together near a wood chipper. A construction site? Just asking (from the safety of the middle of the country).

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Well, today is definitely compensating for any ambiguity in yesterday's rainyness. Eep.

In other news, I bought a food processor yesterday -- Canadian Tire put the KitchenAid model on sale. Now it is mine, all mine! I haven't really done anything yet, but I've got a lot of cookbooks, and I'm not afraid to use them.

I made cinnamon rolls. I haven't made anything else because I've been feeling too lazy to go get ingredients. The rolls are good, though.
