Also, I think it's more likely that false-feeling memories laid on top of an apparently well-balanced and loving childhood would more plausibly result in a resolute but unshattered Connor than he'd coincidentally work out how to fight right as the spell went off.

Yeah, what ita said.

I think Illyria's purpose this ep (other than gratifying Spike-haters) was to drive Wes mad. I felt that he wouldn't have been so desperated to confront Angel and smash the spell if her corpse hadn't been following him around.

Oooh! Good point. I felt bad for Wesley, but at the same time, I don't know if we need anymore tortured Wesley. Has the man been tortured enough?

Also, Adam Baldwin is Creee-pee on Angel.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

then will Connor's parents also know of his origins?

I think the spell was local -- that's it's only them. Connor will probably be a chip off his father's back, and keep the secret for everyone's own good.

So the time shift will remain, but their memories of the former time were restored.

I'm just glad the Connor cut his hair and was less angry, more teen geeky.

God, yes. I hated most of the old Connor -- I think they made him whiny where he should have been flat out insane.

Dork is a huge improvement.

Oh yes!

Speaking of hair, what is going on with Ryan's on the OC? It's all over the place. I think he needs to visit a certain brooding Angelino to get a few product lessons.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

I think he remembers. But his normal upbringing has soften the homicidal kinks.

I agree with Sue.

Only Angel, Illyria, Wes & Connor were nearby when the Box of Phlobotinum got broken. I'm assuming that means Gunn & Lorne still have no memory of Connor?

I liked Gunn turning away AB without even listening. "This heart ain't gonna cut itself out!"

Has the man been tortured enough?

There is No. Such. Thing as too much Wesley torture.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Has the man been tortured enough?

He's a bit like that one Doctor on St. Elsewhere.

I can't even.

OMG! McCain's has an ad with the grownup version of that little kid, Jay, who eats the fries without talking. That was bizarre.

I also saw a bizarre ad for condoms on the Comedy Network. Cucumbers were involved. I was only half watching it, so now I'm thinking it was a joke. But it was for Trojans, and if it was a spoof they'd use a fake brand, right?
