You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Thanks for all the fish.

Cats are picky like that. You should probably take a shower to make things easier on them.

Are the dishes still dirty if they've been licked clean?

Howdie. I was finished work at about 7:45. Whoo and hoo.

Our chair has legs but the new sofa won't arrive until Thursday. They gave us $250 off the price of the sofa and delivery.

Thanks for all the fish.

Holy shit!

That's great, Megan.

And let's cross our fingers that they don't leave it in the snow again.

I can see tulips and crocuses trying to come up under the snow. Anything budding at your place?

And, also, who wants to have breakfast on Monday?

Megan E. - Mar 23, 2004 4:09:48 pm PST #5866 of 6793

Our snow is still too deep to see much of anything. Its supposed to be above zero for the rest of the week and rain on saturday so maybe then I'll be able to check some garden things out.

Thanks for all the fish.

I feel so bad for my poor lilacs. They're budding even as they stick out from the snow mountain at painfully unnatural angles.

Sounds like a movie. The Lilacs of Snow Mountain.

Thanks for all the fish.

Ooooh, and can it star Jude Law?

hip deep in pie

Snow is good for plants. It actually insulates them from the cold.

Ooooh, and can it star Jude Law?

Sure! and Ewan MacGregor.

Thanks for all the fish.

Snow is good for plants unless it has been piled and piled on them by a featherduster.

Oh, wait, I mean snowplow. I always get them confused.

Johnny Depp will be in the movie, too. He can play Lilac.
