To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Larb is something you made up, right?

Nope! Larb is real.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

anyone up for Thai food sometime?

Me! Me me me!

I really haven't been around much lately. Somehow it seems harder to detach my sister from the home computer than it was to convince myself that work could wait a little longer. Darn unemployment, interfering with my online life!

I almost missed the deadline to register for the spring actuary exam - the application has to be in by Apr 1st, and it has to be mailed there. No online applications unless they already have your signature on file. Who do they think they are? Huh?

Got to go -- when's good for dinner? I'm busy this weekend (Fri-Sun) but pretty free after that.

This weekend is out for me too since we'll be cleaning the apartment but I'm free after that too.

I'm made of felt and my....hey, who's hand is that?

We're not going to be cleaning for that long, are we? We could do dinner on Fri or Sun eves, no? Not necessarily Thai, as we'd want to wait for O, but somewhere with someone?

Megan E. - Mar 18, 2004 8:24:32 am PST #5815 of 6793

Cleaning the apartment on Saturday could take an entire day - who knows.
