Rafmun, I'm reposting your bit from Press here, since discussion doesn't go in there:
Thanks ita - my bad. Still learning the ropes (next class: The personal noose) ;)
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I always look at it more as 'is it fun, does it hurt anyone' - and if it's fun for some without hurting anyone, then it's okay. That's why I've always been so spoiler leery.
Reminds me of that great KITH skit "I suggest that we replace all wheelchair ramps with large bumps. It's not that I'm anti-handicapped, it's just that I'm tired of waiting in line on a slant.".
'is it fun, does it hurt anyone'
Agreed! And exactly my convoluted DJ point. =)
Your DJ point was excellent.
All settled in yet? Can you walk through the basement?
Where do we post our annoyance if we find posts about being annoyed by posts annoying?
...I'm just asking. ;)
And no, not all settled in, but settled in enough to walk the basement -though one access point to the kitchen is box-banked for a while. We've got TV, internet, fridge, phone, stove, bed and washroom facilities. We never really have to do anything else. Other than time spent sleeping, I've spent maybe an hour out of the basement since we moved in. The basement is arranged just like the living room in our old apartment. 2+2=me
Megan said something earlier about your fireplace, what's up with that?
Fireplace - when B was over last evening, and before we all watched A Mighty Wind, we screwed in the bulb, clicked on the fireplace, listened to the crinkle, and basked in the room temperature of the fire. It was glorious.
Aw, that's so cool!
I don't remember the last time we had a fire... Because the wood is in the back of the garage and not accessible right now.
Our fireplace must be incredibly efficient as it requires almost no wood at all.
I still can't believe I actually asked if it was functional...
Are you still planning to put candles in there?
