Heh. Sue's making with the big fate-tempting talk.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Right now, a storm would only work to my advantage. I'd love yet another day off from work, and I have at least three hours of my evening being swallowed up by co-op interviews that I totally forgot about, and which I wouldn't mind being cancelled.
I recall just yesterday someone daring the Weather Gods to dump on us again...
Well, there's no bus service tomorrow, so I won't be going to work. I've only got two days left in my contract and I have all next week to do 'em, so it doesn't really seem worth getting a cab or walking for an hour and a half each way.
Aw, it's back to work for us...
You sure Sue? Did they officially announce?
From the provincial website:
Provincial and federal government offices will be pen on Monday, Feb. 23, across the province.
All employees are to return to work as normal. Employees in the Halifax Regional Municipality are requested to car pool and use Metro Transit wherever possible to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
The city is suggesting staggered arrivals, with essential workers arriving at the usual time and all others coming for 10:00.
I actually might head in to work if I was sure that the person I need to meet with would be there.
I've been at work since 7:15. Yuck.
Oh Megan, that SUCKS. Do you get to leave early?
Unfortunately I came in early of my own volition. I just have too much work to do before tomorrow morning. I'm hoping that a briefing with the minister will be moved to later in the week, but if not, I'll have to be prepared.
