Weather network just reported Halifax at 58cm, with 20-25cm more expected yet.
I wonder if that's at Shearwater or at the Airport, because the Airport usually gets more snow than the city. It does look like a lot of snow, but it's so hard to say since it's so blowy. I can still see patches of sidewalk outside of my house.
They're reporting it as from Shearwater. I think the airport is completely closed down. Last I heard, they'd stopped plowing the runways.

Hmmm - double posted goodness. Wonder how that happened? Itchy mousey finger, I guess.
70cms of snow. This is a bit much!
Just went outside for a tiny walkabout - didn't get very far, lemme tell ya. Snow drifts taller than I blocked progress in both directions on Brunny street. Out back, neither door would open, though I did get the garage door to go up - to be met with a wall of snow about a foot high right across the opening.
And it isn't slowing down.
Hope he brought a shovel...

Again. I leave town, and all the apocalyptic weather comes to play. Yeesh.
Wagers on workers having to work in the morning? Think they'll keep everyone home to try to clear the snow? There are drifts 10-12 feet high on the sidewalks along Brunny street right now.
