Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

A little too ironic, I really do think.

NO! I REFUSE! ALL POWER IS MINE! ALL BOW BEFORE ME!

Whew! Does this mean that everything is now your fault?

I'm not sure what I thought of Angel. I think a major plot point was missed like, why couldn't Angel kill Lawson in his office? All Lawson had as leverage was Wes, Fred, and Gunn standing on chairs with piano wire around their necks. Angel ended up dusting him later with no repercussions. Presumably he just cut them down, easy peasy. I guess the lack of exposition could have killed them?

Next week's Angel looks totally wack, hopefully in a good way. (That's all I will say since some remain unspoiled)

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Well, In the office Angel didn't know what leverage Lawson had. Could be just a bluff on his part to maneuver things to where he could use the MoG too keep things in check. Still a bit wonky though.

My big missed subplot of the season is when did all the good guys revert to first season Xander level of capturability. What kind of evil fighting team is that?

I wasn't overley fond of this one, gotta say. Spike turning up on the sub was pretty funny, though.

Oh, and Elena having all that power? Megan's fault.

Oh, and Elena having all that power? Megan's fault.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Did you end up renting It Happened One Night?
I decided that their life on the road didn't really count as glamourous, so I rented My Man Godfrey instead, which was hysterically funny. (The hysterical part was literal at times.)

I didn't really care for last night's Angel, and I almost did myself an injury rolling my eyes when Spike showed up. And they didn't even try to give us a reason why Angel wouldn't have killed Spike in the submarine. Honestly! t rolls eyes some more

Ow!

Thanks for all the fish.

My bad.

Sorry.

I didn't like Spike's hair.

And, yeah, why not kill Lawson as soon as he saw what the leverage was?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The (weakly maintained) justification was that causing a ruckus might jolt them, and the razor sharp wire'd kill them before Angel could reach.
