Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Hey all. I'm in Charlottetown, in the hotel business centre making photo copies. It's the slowest copier ever! We've been away 3 days and are starting to get a little giddy and silly. We just set up 7 display booths and will hopefully be heading to sleep soon.

Thanks for calling us, Sue, with that important information. We only have 2 teacher certification handbooks left so we're hoping that some more were brought by BW. If not, haha!

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan!

How was the trip?

How's things on the homefront?

Trip was too long and I'm way tired. But now they are all over (but the shouting) and I can concentrate on moving etc. Everything seems to be moving along nicely with the house.

Does anyone still have Monday's Angel on tape? My copy was taped over while I was away. *whistles*

Oh, they are starting construction on the condos across the street from us sometime this summer.

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan, I do. Let me know when you want it.

I can bring it to work with me tomorrow, or we could have dinner tomorrow... Or breakfast Monday...

I can't even.

I didn't catch Angel on Wednesday, so I'm Space-dependent again. Looking forward to tonight. I miss the old Buffy Monday Madness. Actually looking forward to Mondays was a strangely liberating experience, back in the day.

However, I'm currently 667 messages behind in the Angel thread (yes, I obsessively keep track), and I can't wait to see the ep, so I can catch up, and also see everyone's teeth-gnashing about the WB. I'm only getting collateral teeth-gnashing in the other threads. I'll feel less miserable reading like minds venting.

I have signed up for Rogers Personal Digital Recorder, which is what they are calling their TiVo-like function. I'll have it as of the end of the month, so I'll let you know what it is like. I gather it doesn't have all of TiVo's charming qualities, but I guess I'll find out.

ETA: sense

I still haven't seen last week's Angel. I just got the tape from Elena this morning so I'll have to watch it when I get home from work.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I haven't seen it either. I'm assuming that Nora taped it, but I haven't looked for the tape yet.

I am so very sleepy. I don't want to be at work, even though it's only for a week. I'm hardly getting anything done, either. Oops.

Sorry we missed your party Ouise. I got home on Saturday afternoon and didn't get your email until later on. I saw your friend's journal entry about it and the cute picture of your new kitty!

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

I saw last week's episode and liked it. Can't come up with anything more coherent to say.

Just to play with Ouise's mind some more - Nora is eating like a horse and growing incredibly fast (she's already 10 lbs). Also still not sleeping at night. Gronk.
