You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

I'm not entirely sure about the 5th (it may be a school dinner thing), but all those other dates are good for me.

B and I are back from the wilds of northern NS. 100+km/hr winds kept us up most of last night, but other than that we had a nice relaxing time. We learned how to play cribbage and kicked each other's butts. t /geeks

I won't be able to confirm or deny when I can get together with people until after this Thursday (or maybe after that date). Please, feel free to organize something and I'll attend if possible.

B and I are staying her at Christmas so we are up for a Trudy visit. YAY!

Thanks for all the fish.

Your cat scan is Tuesday, right? And the ENT appointment on Thursday. Brian is seeing his doctor Monday, so hopefully we will have some news as well.

I'm absolutely fine with any of the dates I listed, which only make sense, I suppose.

Megan, cribbage! Did you play partners? Because we need to get together and I'll kick alls your asses! Of course, seeing as I am the one who is likely to be the best at keeping score....

Ahem, I was taught to play cribbage before I could count. I could kick all yer asses.

Thanks for all the fish.

That sounds like a challenge.

It could be....maybe we need a little tournament.

(Actually I'm not even the best in my family -- what am I doing?)

Edit: 500!

This maybe the only thread where I get to actually be a number companion. I've never won anything like this before!

I can't believe this is happening to me.

(Weeps.)

I'd like to thank God, the Almighty Creator, (sob) for this honour and for my blessed life.

I'd like to thank my parents for all the support and late nights along the way. I made it mom! (sob)

I'd like to thank my manager, and my agent. I wasn't convinced about this number, but they held my hand and said "You can do it! We believe in you. Take that risk!"

I'd like to thank the creators of this thread, the admins, the stompy feet for giving me a nuturing environment in which I could safely explore being a number companion.

Oh I'm just so touched.

I'd like to thank my stylist, my hairdresser and my chiropractor for making me not look too hippy in such a broad number as five hundred.

I'd like to thank Sanford Fleming for creating time zones and making it the middle of the night in England so FayJay didn't beat me here.

And finally, I wouldn't be here without each and everyone of you. You are my inspirations, and the groundbreak. If it wasn't for all the posts that came before, I wouldn't be the companion I am today.

Thank you! God bless you!

Thanks for all the fish.

Too late! Sucka! Though I'm also not the best in my family.

And I think a cribbage tournament would be a nice way to spend a snowy afternoon or two.

I really lose badly only when money is involved. And one of my sisters will only play for money.

Thanks for all the fish.

I've never played for money.

We start off a penny or a nickel a point for every point you lose by. If it gets fierce, that can go up to a dollar.
