It's cold outside but I have two banana breads in the oven and a crock pot full of chili. Today I mailed two packages and then had a great time sifting through used books downtown. A bit chilly to be walking around downtown but if you go store to store, you get warmed up nicely.

and curling is on! could it be a more perfect day?

It was too cold to walk around outside, so we went to HSC where there was a shoe sale. Three pairs later, we went home and I baked cookies for hours. That's a pretty nice day, too.

And what's more, it's too damn cold inside where I work. Suddenly, the world is a brittle and unforgiving place in entirely new and distincly unsettling ways.

Apparently the job change that was supposed to happen in November, that was put on the back burner, is now back on the block and may happen today. My spy stopped me in the hall at 8am to tell me to be prepared for anything over the next day or so.
