Merry (about to be) Christmas! We're going to the late service thingy tonight. My mother and a friend of hers planned the service and will be leading it, so it should be good. Then we'll go back to my mother's and stay overnight.
Hope everyone's having a good holiday.
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Heh. I am doing my part for Baby Jebus Says BuyBuyBuy NowNowNow Day by working at the store all night.
Happy Festivus everyone! I'm very diappointed in all of you.
To any Canadians who haven't noticed yet: Space is showing all of Buffy Season 7 today. They started at midnight (1am here) and will continue throughout the day.
Hey all. Still in Ontario. Had good Xmas so far and have been busy busy since we arrived. today's plans are still in the air but we're trying to see friends who used to live in NS, have lunch with my granny, go shopping etc, etc, etc.
Elena, we hope Brian is mucho better.
Brian is feeling pretty good, though the deeply stupid dog at my parents' place (to which Brian is allergic) didn't help things.
Mecha, I'm also very disappointed in you. And I renew my grievances against pants and the FOX Broadcasting Network.
Oooh, don't you hate pants?
This year my grievances are against Fox, the blues (I've got the Somethin' 'Gainst the Blues Blues so bad), my inability to mash current and past cities of residence into one big happy post apocalyptic war zone, and the fact that I have to keep raiding my time machine for parts for other projects. At this rate, I won't be finished until tomorrow.
YOU WANNA PIECE OF MEEE!!??
Mecha, I made a point of taking pictures of pirishki. I know that you'll want to see them.
Blarg. am home. Landed at 12:30 am (2 hours late) and got to sleep at 2. Am predicting less than productive work today.
Oh, and we saw ROTK on Dec 23rd in a theatre with terrible sound so we'll have to go again to actually hear the dialogue.
I already saw Megan! Do I win a prize? I was shopping. I bought two books, a car carrier, some wood and groceries. Most of the wood fit inside the cat carrier, so I only had to lug the 3-foot piece around on the bus. I'm going to make a shoe shelf, but I need to borrow my mother's drill first.
