Angel: I can stay in town as long as you want me. Buffy: How's forever? Does forever work for you?

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

19th? GO TEAM 19! only a week 'til Baby Jesus Says Buy Buy Buy Now Now Now Day! And only a week after that I can stop having my senses assaulted by it. Looks like everything's coming up Mecha.

Continuing in that same vein, more in the way of good news. Firstly, I am typing this from The Beast What Counts Very Quickly Indeed, which means my LAN is finally working. A great deal less hassle accessing the many wonders of the InterWeb. And by wonders, I mean Porn.

Secondly, after scouring the city for weeks on end looking for a glass fronted display case suitable for hanging on a wall, giving up hope and deciding to put my stunted, useless carpentry skills to the test, I found one yesterday two blocks from my house, so now I feel like Ator in The Quest for The Mighty Sword, but that's OK since it gives me a chance to use that as a reference. More importantly, the most ambitious project of my gift giving career, the Zombie Apocalypse Survival Kit is not quite as stillborn as I'd feared. Added to that, I found a super bitchin' knife for cheap to go inside, plus aesthetically and intellectually pleasing books on communism and philosophy to go in too.

See, according to my plan, the giftee will be responsible for coming up with the new post ZA society, where everyone gets what's coming to them, as quickly as possible, and if I know her, and I do, she'll borrow heavily from communism. Philosophy is more of a short term survival thing, as figuring out what the Zombies represent is the first step. A Zombie is never just a Zombie.

Thirdly, and Fina-FOCKIN'-Ly, I scored my Firefly DVD's. Whew. Tonight, I sit and listen to commentaries while I throw down my other BJSBBBNNNDay gift idea, and smite it's ruin upon a big pile of clay.

As days go, I've had worse.

The surgery with the scraping ever closer to his brain through the sinuses (Heh. Sinusi.)? All the hip kids are getting their sinus cavities scraped out, aren't they? Yeah, thought so.

I so should get this done. My sinusi hateses me. But I thought you had to move to Arizona after?

I'd concur with that. I'm thinking about starting a club and getting t-shirts.

Thanks for all the fish.

I'm thinking about starting a club and getting t-shirts.

Way to go, Megan. Spoiling next Christmas.

Also, 6 hours 'til surgery.

Mecha, yay! I'm glad you're finally connected to the Interweb.

Thanks for all the fish.

He's in there even as I type.

I'm at the Public Library at the Ferry Terminal. It's nice here.

When will he be done?

Elena - Dec 19, 2003 4:29:03 am PST #4715 of 6793
Thanks for all the fish.

The operation itself is about 3 hours long. Then recovery. Traditionally he's done sometime between 3-5.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Best of healing vibes to him.
