Bloody frogs. All I can find is the French version. I can't have firefly DVD's that would even consider surrendering. That would be just wrong.
Heh. Them's fightin' words to um, somebody, I guess. Or at least opening negotations to sue for peace words.
I think the american slander on The French (as opposed to Our French) is a trifle unfair, considering the French were a world power long before the yanks were even the 5th toughest guys in their own land.
But that doesn't mean not finding Firefly in English in Morry-AL isn't annoying. Can one of the big chains order it in for you, quick-like?
A cool little genre shop up the street offered to do that, and I'll take 'em up on it tomorrow if I don't find it tonight. I would've liked to go small business, but no dice. I'm currently putting my faith in HMV.
See, my problem with Dubya and co. is that they've put me in a naturally untenable position. When they started that war, they put me in the position of having to side with the hippies and the french. That's just wrong.
Caused much smashing it did.
I'm just testing some stuff now.
Ignore me, please.
Okay, I'm out of here. See many of you tomorrow, when we go out for dessert (while watching Firefly) and Mecha can't come.
Yes. Yes you did.
Thank all of you for a lovely afternoon and lovely presents!
Sue, the cats were going
insane
around the bag you gave me. I thought it must be something in the soap, but then I realised it was probably the bacon air-freshener.
Nora has been showing off her tshirt to everyone she runs into. I've been braggin about mine, too, but less ...
energetically. Thank you to all for the delightful gifts (I've had too much candy in more than one sense).
Call me crazy but I really wish all this rain we are getting was snow. I haven't really felt in the christmas spirit yet and I think it's due to the lack of snow.
Trade? Arctic Hell is currently bestriding my town going 'MOO HOO HA HA!'
