"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Actually, I do love autumn the most. But we need two weeks of snowy cold, two weeks of breaking spring, and one week of hot.

Elena is so me it's not even funny. Except, I'll reduce it to 4 to 8 Saturdays or Sundays of hot, non-consecutive. Beach time, y'know.

If Spring in New England actually occurred, I'd take more of it, but given how it goes here usually, I think I remember one actual Spring in my entire life. Usually it just goes from grey and mushy/slushy to hot and humid.

Autumn in New England is da bomb, baby!

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan, I know that you're busy at work, but do you think you could make an early breakfast in the morning?

Say, 6:45ish at Cora's? We'd have you to work by 8.

Sorry Elena, I just saw your post now so I won't be meeting you for breakfast. Maybe another time.

Swouncing

t Tiptoeing in with my eyes closed, as to not risk reading the Firefly spoilers (all typos should be blamed on that) Ouise? This (Monday) is the first day of the new job, right? I hope you enjoy it! t /tiptoeing right out, banging on a wall on the way, having some snow fall on my head from somewhere

Good luck today Ouise!

Sue, I hope you got your papers done and that you get lots of sleep tonight!

Elena, mmmm, Cora's.

Hey all, what time are we thinking about meeting on the 13th? Brent booked something in the morning but said he could join us if our tea was 3-ish. That being said, we don't have to book around his schedule at all and he could come meet us later on.

I am the mad atlantic serial poster today.

Sue, I hope you got those files ok. I went to United booksellers and got the Hedwig book at lunch. Then I went to JWD and was shocked to see Mr. D. with no beard! Looks totally different.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

He shaved his beard?!? That's so wrong. I've known him since before the store opened (we met when my family was in Scotland) and he's *always* had the beard. I'll have to go see.

Thanks for the luck-wishing. I'm settling right back in, particularly since I'm back AT THE SAME DESK. But that's ok. (Except I was kind of hoping for a real desk, instead of a table. Oh well.

Megan, good luck and anti-nervousness wishes for you!

It's totally wrong! The only reason I knew it was him was by his tweed jacket - and then his voice.

My interview is over... they asked me for references. Two of my references interviewed me. Strange...
