sorry, Next week we get Heart of Gold. The week after OIS and then 1st hour of serenity. I'm confus-ed!
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Also, I was figuring at the end that they decided to let him die. Do others concur, or was there some line I missed about Simon not being able to fix him up because of the new organs?
There was no line. And I was a little surprised that Simon didn't insist that Holden be taken to the infirmary. It would have made more sense to me if they had not told the doctor about things until they were over. Because they would have had to hide from the Feds, anyway.
New dessert cafe? Fantastic. Let's brainstorm on dates, then.
Maybe Sunday, December 14th?
Sunday's fine for me. I often have tutoring at 4:00 on Sundays, but I can reschedule if late afternoon is the best time for others. Nora says it's fine for her as well.
Tea (and dessert) can easily be at 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
Ok, but it really would be easy to reschedule (after the times he's just not shown up, I care not at all about inconveniencing my student).
Tonight Nora bought us tickets to the midnight showing of RotK in two weeks. Very exciting.
Oh, did she buy them on-line? Did she have to go there?
I must buy tickets.
But not to the midnight show. I can go for the noon show.
Okay, tickets purchased for the 12 noon Wednesday show.
She actually went there. A friend drove her, so it wasn't really a big deal.
It can be done over the phone, with a credit card.
Brian wanted to go to the midnight show, but I work that day at 7am, and being awake from 5am, all day, and through the movie would not make for a pleasant experience.
Just thinking about what that would feel like is making me ill. I'll probably take the next morning off -- as a contract worker, I can choose my own hours. I'll do some extra hours beforehand and it should be fine. There's no way I'd be doing this if Nora weren't so enthusiastic about it, though.
