Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, yes, that's what I meant to mention.

Megan, you've perhaps noticed the e-mail I sent the list that needs to be okayed?

Please okay it, as it is the invitation.

I'm trying, but my password won't let me enter the admin area. I will as soon as my password woes get sorted.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

WooHoo! Looks Like everything's coming up Slanty! My apartment, dubbed the Slanty Shanty is now in the clear because my roomate's superfluous apartment he got saddled with last year, called The Albatrossment has finally been rented, removing a 700$ weight from around our collective neck. Whew. Between this and my barely adequate job, solvency is mere months away.

Elena, it has been released.

So I just checked my work email (yes, I am a sucker for punishment) and there was a really nice note from one of the government solicitors saying that she will miss working with me now that my responsibilities have changed. That helps to reinforce that my decision to hopefully move is a good one.

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan, it is a good decision. Of course it is. Don't let your horrible boss tell you otherwise.

Mecha, I'm glad that solvency is headed your way. Is there any chance that you'll be coming up for Christmas? Because there will be a trilogy marathon on the 16th of December at Bayer's Lake.

hip deep in pie

Have I mentioned what morons Eastlink are lately. I just got my new "easier to read" bill with this message on it:

Is excess Wait slowing you down? Loose the dial-up wait and do it faster with EastLink High Speed Internet. Call for availability

I swear "lose" is spelled "loose" wrong so much that people don't know the difference anymore.

I just deleted and edited my posts where I talk about work, in case you are wondering where they went.

Kinda looks like I'm a have to make a Charles Bronson face and say 'No dice' on that. Solvency isn't that close, December is too damn cold for 24 hour long hitchiking trips, and airplanes is expensive. I'm hoping for spring.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I guess Space's solution is reasonable. I was thinking they should play last week's episode at new Angel time and then this week's episode at syndicated-Angel time. They could run announcements the previous night during syndicated Angel and Thursday night during last week's Angel. Ok, that's way more complicated than their plan. Sigh.

I am curious to find out if Pelagie (new cat) is as good at learning tricks as Max is. We'll wait until she's settled in, though.
