Oh, I forgot to mention - apparently there will be a LOTR marathon on the 16th of December at Bayer's Lake. Tickets are $50 and go on sale November 15th.
I just don't know if my ass can take that. But I do have a MWW day off that monday, which could be switched...I wonder if this will sell out fast?
You guys aren't wearing the same costumes tomorrow as you are wearing for the LOTR party are you?
I'm going to call the theatre in the next few days to verify.
If we can get tickets I'll arrange to have the day off.
Megan - NO!
Different costumes altogether. In fact, my estimates of having my dress done today may be optimistic.
Because I'm using the computer instead of sewing.
And I'm running out of thread.
I won't be going to the marathon. Neither Brent nor I have the patience or the bum fortitude to sit for that long.
We're wearing different costumes too. Ours aren't as cool as our extremely witty and wonderful LOTR outfits. (me me me me me me me!)
Thanks for the advice and encouragement, everyone. I've decided that I do want the job (checking first to make sure that it's stuff I know how to do!) and I'll study and apply for jobs while I'm there. I called my contract-company ex-(and future-) boss) to let her know. Things won't get settled for a couple of weeks since the guy who wants to hire me is leaving on a two-week scientific cruise on Saturday. I'm feeling much more relaxed now that I've decided.
Our LOTR costumes will be rather literal, I'm afraid.
But our Hallowe'en costumes - ah, mine's witty and Brian's is literal.
So Brian isn't going to be a Mime of Moria?
I think I see a Spike walking by on the sidewalk!
