Today has been very quiet at work. I'm looking forward to having Monday off!
Dawn ,'The Killer In Me'
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Me too! I've been looking forward to it for two weeks. I love long weekends. There really should be one in February. I shouldn't complain this year, though, since that's when I'm planning on taking my vacation.
The bad news - all the frelling snow! (and we have power as you can probably tell)
The good news - it's going to be above seasonal this weekend. 11C
Hmm. 11C isn't that bad. This morning was horrible. I waited for 33 minutes for a bus that it supposed to come every ten minutes. Grr. I ended up 50 minutes late for work, and had to walk up the hill to BIO, since the stupid #1 made me miss both #50s. The power almost went out here a bunch of times this morning, but it managed to hold out. Sigh.
Our lights flickered off for about 2 minutes this morning but after that we've been clear.
I'm on a conference call right now, and it's fucking great!
Lookit the snow! I'm sure that we haven't had snow that stuck this years for many, many years.
Okay, when can we get together? Because I still have your Firefly tape, too, Megan.
Lookit the snow! I'm sure that we haven't had snow that stuck this years for many, many years.
It'll be gone soon, due to the above O temps and rain.
Sue, I hear you got a last minute ride to CB! Better than the smelly bus!
Yes it was much better.
I'm home now but with a headache and lots of work to do. Boo!
Oh, thank god! I just found my anti glare screen. Now I can actually look at the board without holding up my haand to shade my eyes.
I will be busy for the next few weeks, so don't count on my being available for anything. You guys make plans and I'll come when I can.
Huh. Wow.
While I certainly hate Dawn, I thought that the stuff with Joyce was just fucking creepy.
Poor, poor Jonathon. He didn't deserve this.
Was Xander even in this episode? I missed the first two minutes.
I wonder if they originally planned to have Tara talk to Willow? I thought it worked well this way, because there was a second of 'hey, isn't that girl dead?' before you realised that she was.
I liked the effect at the end, with the girl's smile extending, though I think it would have been more effective had they not had the whole inside-out thing. Just the smile getting bigger and bigger. Ooh, just gave myself a shudder.
And what's up with Spike?
I enjoyed the Star Wars dialogue with Warren and Andrew. "What? No, I was just going along ... . It's a thing. He's our last hope."
And Warren still freaks me out.
Okay, going to watch Angel now.
