Hey all - I'm in Elora now at my parent's house. Today is my grandmother's funeral so I'll have to go get ready soon, but I thought I'd pop on and say HI. Brent set the VCR to tape Angel tonight but it will be in the middle of a tape of other stuff. Oh well. There's always the DVDs, right?

My sister and brother in law have cancelled their cable. I think they are INSANE!

I do. The cable people were working outside my house in the rain for about 2 hours yesterday. I think they had to put new cabling in. So, not only do I have restored cable, but the reception is much better!

Well, looks like I'll have to be sure to watch and or tape on Thursdays. Which sucks because Monday is the only night I have reliably off.

with the cable being out he forgot to reset the VCR so it taped nothing.

Funeral went well, as did my remembrance speech. Today we just hung out with my sister and did a little shopping. We fly home tomorrow morning and then my parents fly out on Friday for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Well, shit. I mean, it's nice that your parents are coming in, but Brian won 4 tickets to the Fall Fair and we were looking for people to bring along. I guess we'll go with my Dad and give the fourth ticket away.

You know, we haven't been to the Fireside in ages. Any thoughts about going? Maybe on Monday the 20th? I have the next day off and it is martini Monday.
