Not overly much. The transportation woes of the free furniture I've been offered have been circumvented. I need more ways to cook rice that don't suck. That's about it.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
In chicken broth is always nice.
I'll get Brian to e-mail you. He's got a foolproof method of doing pilaf.
Good thing we're planning to stay in. I wonder if we can still get Chinese delivered.
My lovely husband will be at your house Elena. Could you kick him out if a tidal wave seems imminent?
If you used to get Buffy a day early, will be getting Angel two days late,
That slug sounds good but I'd make one change since we're either getting Angel 1 day late (Space) or 5 days late (ASN).
Sue, thank you very much for the use of your monitor! We won't be able to take ours in to be fixed until Monday. Is it ok if we borrow it until we get our back?
Sure. It's been sitting in my bedroom closet for two years, so it's probably just glad to feel wanted.
I hear there's a hurricane coming, and what do I do? Go wilderness camping! Unfortunately our trip was cut a little short, thanks to Juan. I am now tired, dirty, coated in bug dope and sunscreen, and totally content! Canoeing back from our camp site through whitecaps wasn't so much fun, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
After we crassed the lake, we decided to take a paddle down this small river by the kayak rental place, about 20 feet from the river bank there were two deer walking along. We slowed to watch them, and even when they saw us they kept meandering along. It was pretty neat.
I have to shower and get batteries for my flashlight, just in case.
I've done 5 loads of laundry and will probably do some ironing before there is a threat of losing power. I have candles in every room, just in case. Better to be safe than sorry.
Sounds like you had a exciting trip Sue. Cool deer story!
It was fun. We were tense about the storm a lot, but it was still fun. I took one of the rented kayaks out for a spin yeaterday. They're fun!
We were listening to the weather report in the car on the way back, and I was thinking, man, if we have a hurricane and I don't get a day off, I'm going to be cheesed.
There's an empty beer bottle on the kitchen floor, and the cats have polished off 2 days worth of food in 24 hours. What kind of party did they have?
Sounds like the found some catnip and got the munchies.
Thank the goddess for shopper's drug mart! I was making pizza for dinner and realized that I didn't have a mozzarella cheese. So we just went for a pre-hurricane cheese, battery, and candle run. I guess they say that the hurricaine won't be hitting until later tonight now. At least, I don't consider 10pm to be "evening" anymore.
My flashlight died last night while camping. I thought it was the batteries. It's not. It must be the bulb. (J loaned me one of her flashlights for tonight.) I had to go to two stores to find D batteries.
I'm having pizza for supper too! But I ordered mine.
