Sue, you'll still come because Brian can make his famous beef fish.

Is this anything like the steakslaw?

(Bizarre steak slaw X-post.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Brian is going to have a hell of a time in my teeny weenie "kitchen".

Somehow, we will all survive.

Thanks for all the fish.

And thus the mythos surrounding the elusive steak slaw grows ever greater.

So my sister at an Agricultral Economist's conference with my Brother in Law in Montreal. They are in the same hotel as the WTO conference. Apparently a number of arrests just took place outside the hotel. My guess is, my sister is stuck in the hotel bored out of her mind.

I've had gum that -- proudly -- tastes like soap.

I do believe in steak slaw! I do believe in steak slaw!

Thanks for all the fish.

Trudy, we will not be allowed in the kitchen at the same time as Brian. So that makes more room for everybody.

I hope she has cable.

Was the gum a "thrill"?

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Hey Trudy! (& all). Noticed the busy-ness, so I came over. I made ciabatta yesterday, and it turned out and everything. I'm chuffed.

Newfoundland is the only province you haven't been to, Elena? I'm impressed. I've been to Ontario and all provinces east of ON, but that's it. Now I'm feeling all inferior. *sob*
