We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Is the baseball game on Global instead of Firefly?

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I believe so.

Thanks for all the fish.

Damn... I'm kicking myself that I didn't tape and save Firefly from the get go... I just hope it lasts long enough for summer reruns.

Indeed! We actually didn't get last week's episode on tape and I was out on Friday evening, so I thought I wouldn't get to see it. But Nora came to the rescue - she was visiting a friend and noticed that her friend's mother had taped it, so she borrowed the tape for me. I would have hated to miss it - it was such a good episode.

Have you seen the first two episodes? If not, we could lend you the tape, I'm sure.

there will still be Farscape, which I hope will be more fun and less depressing than last week's.

This was the creepiest and most depressing Farscape yet. I felt so sad for that Pilot. Just disgusting.

The rock, paper, scissors scene at the end was funny though.

You are so right. That poor, poor Pilot. ANd the ship, too. On a lighter note, I'm really glad that they didn't get two Jools.

Thinking about it, last week's episode bothered me more, because they made things worse and promised things that ended up not being true. This week's was gross and sad, but at least there was less suffering at the end, and the bad guys were stopped.

Thanks for all the fish.

I saw the first two episodes, thank you. But, you know, I might just borrow them to rewatch (and incidently to help Shrift with her transcript project).

But first, Thanksgiving on Monday! And then to Toronto on Friday!

Listen, I'll be at my parents' place on Monday, and therefore will not be in a position to either taunt or warn the Merkins about the new Buffy. I expect that you ladies will take up the gauntlet in my stead.

There IS a new Buffy (and Angel) Monday, right? I know it's early in the season, but look what they're doing to Firefly for rutssake.

My parents will still be here so I won't be about for the taunting. I'll be lucky if I remember to tape the episodes. My parents were here last year as well, and I remembered at 8:30 that Buffy was on. Thank the goddess for YTV.

In other news, my pregnant friend's water broke at 3:00am! There may be a baby to visit tomorrow. My mom would LOVE that.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Megan, how exciting about your friend. I hope she had an easy labour.

So Sue is away for the weekend, right? Since you're both busy, too, I guess that leaves Nora and me for the CVR. Can do - I'll make a note so we won't forget.
