A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

In contradiction to my earlier post of nothing going on Canada Day after I drop my mom off at the airport, it seems that the Bedford Days Canada Day Finale fireworks are happening a couple hundred meters off the SO's mother's balcony. Literally right in front of her condo. So, I'm thinking I'll be sucking back some cold ones there instead of hanging with Haligonistas.

Sounds like a true Canadian activity to me! Doesn't look like there's going to be a Haligonistas gathering anyway. We'll be watching the fireworks over the harbour from the roof of our building.

Thanks for all the fish.

We're going to be watching a production of 'Mid-Summer Night's Dream' at 3:30 am. Should be fun.

So, how about this heat eh? I can finally go outside without a sweater, though 30C is a little much.

watched Spirited Away last night. Wasn't blown away but it was a fun story.

Thanks for all the fish.

So fucking hot. I spent most of Sunday in a heat-induced stupor on the couch. I'm not 100% sure you could call it a nap. I was quite tired on Sunday, wonder why?
