amyparker, Toronto have several lovely parks, but I think most of the marriages are taking place at City Hall. If they want a religious ceremony they should start scouting to see which, if any, denominations are performing same sex marriages - I'd start with Unitarians and United Church of Canada.
Megan, I'll be there between 6:30 and 7. Probably at 6:45.
Probably at 6:45.
Okie. see you then. Anyone else coming?
I'll be there - Nora hasn't decided yet. Yay martinis!
My mother is organizing a Canada Day thing at her neighbourhood community centre. (edit: Which is where I'll be.) It's going to be live on CBC. She's quite a worrier, so I can only imagine what sort of state she'll be in by the 30th.
How lovely, amyparker! I agree with what Elena said - Unitarian and United churches are definitely doing weddings (although I don't know how far ahead you need to book them, especially this time of year).
So there may be 4 of us, but possibly 6. Okie dokie.
I'm on my way shortly. See you soon.
Thanks for a fun evening out ladies and Griffyn! I felt a little loopy when I got home but not too bad. Should have had the lemon shortcake instead of that last martini!
You should have had lemon shortcake
and
that last martini!
Woo!
Wow, don't remember quite the last time I got
that
drunk. Wait, it was the last martini Monday we went to!
But yes, Elena, I'm caving on the
Lost Episodes
(da-da-
BOM
) even as we speak. Call it a go. As for Father Ted, well
'And what do you say to a cup?'
"FECK OFF, CUP!"
Isn't it just a wealth of cultural knowledge?
Griff burned the eps and right now Nora has them. I'll right now put myself next in line to get them and we'll plan a night or afternoon in which to watch them and eat meat.
THAT WOULD BE AN ECUMENICAL MATTER!
