Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Yeah, you're just a laceration trollop.

But yes, the Kitchen of Tomorrow (Today!) is definitely a spectacle worthy of a moment's contemplation.

Thanks for all the fish.

Brian bought drawer pulls, though. So I'm afraid that your secret cupboard will soon be a thing of the Past (Presently!).

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Ouise, did you see the [31] Ontario court same sex ruling?
Yes, I did. Woohoo!

Elena, when are you next at Spring Garden Shoppers? I can bring the tape to you there.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

For those not following the Firefly thread, I have in my posession the VCDs of those three missing episodes. Let me know if/how people want the data distributed amongst the Haligonistas.

hip deep in pie

Can you watch those in a regular DVD Player Griff? Or if you have to watch them on the computer, will something like Windows Media or Quicktime allow you to view them? I would like to see them for sure!

Jenny's DVD player (which isn't anything fancy or new) plays them just fine. Or you can use Windows Media Player (or a DVD viewing program) to watch them on the computer.

Wow! That would be amazing!

The quality isn't the best, but it's probably as good as many taped broadcast episodes. So, shall I make up a set and have them handed around or crank off three or four sets so everyone can have their own? I've got somewhere around 150 blank CDs here so that's not a problem, but I don't currently have any jewel cases for them.

Just let me know how folks want it and I'll begin the process. My gaming GM is finishing his CMA tomorrow and a set are going to be given to him so it's not out of my way to make a bunch of sets all at once.
