Hey guys, have any of you ever rented one of those steam cleaners from the grocery store? Tomorrow we're getting our long lost couch back from our friends who are moving to Toronto and I know it will need to be cleaned since they have two kids and two cats. Are they expense? Do they do a credible job?

My mom used to rent them occasionally, but I think she only used them on rugs... I think they do an okay job. I'm not sure how much they are though.

Gimme a genre to work withHow about sci fi? I was going to say horror, but I decided I didn't want to go there, even just in my own head. Agh! Too late! Seriously, I'll give it some thought. So far we've got me: Thai chicken noodle soup and Mecha: whole wheat and honey bread. That leaves room for salad or a vegetable dish or a main dish, dessert or something else. If Megan, Sue and Griffyn don't claim a category (and since Sue has expressed her alliegance to putluck anarchy, she might not pick one at all) then you can pick. If you don't want the responsibility (and it is a heavy load) we can wait until closer to the date and I'll put on my school-mistress outfit and assign you one. How about that?
