Sounds cool, Mecha. (And by "cool" I mean warm and tasty.)

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Whole wheat and honey bread, if'n I can find the recipe. Which shouldn't be a problem, what with me suddenly owning the world and such.
Mmmm...steak slaw. ;)
Gimme a genre to work with, Ouise, and I'll whip up something appropriate.
Shower theme....hmmmm....Watercress salad with a warm waterchestnut dressing? Tub o' buttered chicken? Curtains o' shrimp? Cap o' Beef?
Hey guys, have any of you ever rented one of those steam cleaners from the grocery store? Tomorrow we're getting our long lost couch back from our friends who are moving to Toronto and I know it will need to be cleaned since they have two kids and two cats. Are they expense? Do they do a credible job?
Oh yeah, and SUN! According to my deck thermometer it is 17C.
My mom used to rent them occasionally, but I think she only used them on rugs... I think they do an okay job. I'm not sure how much they are though.
If you want to steam clean my rugs when your done with the couch, come on over!
Gimme a genre to work withHow about sci fi? I was going to say horror, but I decided I didn't want to go there, even just in my own head. Agh! Too late! Seriously, I'll give it some thought. So far we've got me: Thai chicken noodle soup and Mecha: whole wheat and honey bread. That leaves room for salad or a vegetable dish or a main dish, dessert or something else. If Megan, Sue and Griffyn don't claim a category (and since Sue has expressed her alliegance to putluck anarchy, she might not pick one at all) then you can pick. If you don't want the responsibility (and it is a heavy load) we can wait until closer to the date and I'll put on my school-mistress outfit and assign you one. How about that?
Wait, you mean I was the second person to jump here? Somethin' 'bout that is just downright unsettlin'.
I'm going to think about it a bit, if that's ok Ouise.
Wait, you mean I was the second person to jump here? You just don't recognize your own domesticity. And you look lovely in that apron. t ducks
No problem, Megan. It's more than a week away.
edit: Megan, do you have Ian Rankin's book Tooth and Nail? It's the book they'll be discussing at the Open Book filming I'm attending, and there are four holds on the library copy. Sue thought you might own it. If so, could I borrow it?
