Jess, it's pretty lame, but it's also a non-moment. The scene is really about Buffy and Willow, and the how is almost beside the point. It was a good scene so I didn't mind it that much. Just a fleeting "That was lame..."

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
Since Jane E. wrote it, was it a very funny ep?
I was wondering who wrote it while I was watching. I'd say it's a departure for JE from her usually quirky, funny episodes. Sure there's some funny, but the tone is much more serious. And the scenes with the gnarl attacking Willow were really quite disturbing.
Is the general consensus on the episode good, bad, or indifferent? I like to be prepared if disappointment awaits.
I liked it. But as said upthread, most impressions of it were replaced with a big "Dayum!" after seeing Angel.
It was a good episode but it didn't do much to move the plot along.
And the scenes with the gnarl attacking Willow were really quite disturbing.
I second that. Really quite gross.

That's good to know. I read the description and there was much eye-rolling.
I'm telling you, they should have just reversed the polarity on a tricorder and flooded the cave with tachyon particles.
Yeah, Jessi, lame, but the episode itself was enjoyable. I wasn't overly squicked by the skin eating... Does that mean I'm from Holland?
Holland the country or Holland the lawyer from Angel?
You haven't seen Goldmember , have you?
