Didn't he get some things to help Buffy from W & H

I really enjoyed this ep, but what was with the cheesy music with the Buffy and Angel. It makes me think it is fake and calculated to make Spike angry. He seemed weird. But I am second guessing myself because everything seems weird sometimes.

Sophia, I'm with you. Angel's entrance, the big hero music and glamour shot pose, his whole manner. I think that while Caleb got stronger from joining with the FE, the FE (probably briefly) got the ability to become corporeal, as it was whining about last week. It's totally a set-up to fuck with Spike.

On the other matter, he did I think get something from W&H, but it hasn't come into play yet, so I don't the AC's are missing anything much by not having that info really. And, like I said, I don't think that's him in the first place.

So the first has said it wasn't time for Spike yet-- I think now it is and he is being majorly messed with.

Or, the music person is on crack.

What did Angel say-- that he has really missed watching this? That didn't sound lik ehim at all.

What I can't account for is Buffy's behavior. Even leaving aside the Spike sitch, the whole walking into his arms bit felt really OOC.

I agree Brenda. I was seriously weirded out. I also knew he was coming (obviously from the promo) and forgot, because I kept thinking Spike would come along. So I gasped very loud while watching it in my (shared) office with headphones on my lunch hour.

Wait-- didnt FE say that once she and caleb joined she would have the power to enter anyone like she was entering him? So both Buffy and Angel could be somehow being taken over by the first. Even though she was also talking to Spike??

I think she said that once they won she could do that. So I don't think it's at that level yet. But something was seriously up with Buffy.

I'm thinking next week that actual Angel might still show up with the amulet, whatever it's supposed to do.

It seemed totally in character to me. He just helped save her life, she hasn't seen him in ages, she's really stressed, they kissed. I think y'all are reading way too much into it.
