Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Thanks for all the fish.

Thank you Megan. Insent.

Okay, so 8pm Thursday for coffee/drinks. Is there any place in particular that folks would like to go? Is there a coffee place downtown? They are so few and far between.

Hey, my sarcasm font seems to be stuck.

What about that new place Tribeca? I've never been so if anyone is morally opposed to it, I'll understand.

Tribeca is more of a restaurant than a coffee/drinks place.

oh, I didn't know. I don't drink coffee so if that's what people want, I'll let someone else decide.

Thanks for all the fish.

Drinks, coffee, tea, milkshakes. The important thing is the getting together.

I amend the above statement - comfortable chairs are also important.

We can go to a restaurant and just order drinks. They love that.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I have no location preference, but wanted to report on my brother's gig. It was lots of fun, and they had a massive crowd. Apparently Friday nights are usually pretty slow at the Olive, so they have a good chance of getting the gig extended. I was impressed. There were people up dancing five bars into the first song. Yay!

Thanks for all the fish.

That's wonderful! It means that chances are good that it will still be going on when I'm back in town.

Damn! I just discovered there was a midnight showing of LOTR at the Oxford last night. Had I known about it, I would have sooo been there. It would have been a great theatre to see that film in.

Thanks for all the fish.

Sue, I found out about that at 12:10 Saturday. I was really ticked off to have missed it.

Ouise, I just now looked at the e-mail you sent me, oh, a week ago ! About adding your goth picture to the rest. I would be happy too, but there was no picture attached to the message!

Our living room TV is on the fritz. After being on for about an hour it starts to flicker, like the vertical hold isn't working, and the flicker continues to get worse. Luckily we have another TV in the bedroom. B is going to try and find a place to fix the TV - any suggestions?
