That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

He also reminds me of every Flannery O'Connor short story I've ever read.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Hey, and thanks for the sympathy. I went to see my doctor this morning and she's advised me to stay home until next Tuesday. My blood tests and everything came out fine, so I've just got a low-grade viral infection. It still sucks, though.

I yelled at the TV when Xander's eye got popped. I was completely shocked. Wow. Also I find Caleb really really disturbing. Urgh. Interesting that they're going for an explicitly misogynist baddie for the second year in a row.

Faith was great, and the Vulcan fight was hilarious. I also really liked the scene where Andrew got Xander to explain that "That wasn't Godzilla." Hee.

Also

Andrew: She wrapped evil around her like a large evil Mexican serape.

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, god, he was so distressed and needed Xander to rescue him!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was a delight! I feel I've seen just that co-dependent geekert relationship in a million fics/drabbles in the past few weeks ... so pleased to have it onscreen too.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Interesting that they're going for an explicitly misogynist baddie for the second year in a row.

That struck me too. And until we saw he had super-powers, I was thinking "another ordinary human misogonyst."

Thanks for all the fish.

I wonder if the ring gives him his super powers...

Did anyone get a good look at the burn on girlie's neck?

Insent, Haligonistas.

It just looked like a round burn to me. Maybe after it heals a bit they will be able to tell what it looks like.

Thanks for all the fish.

They did take a picture, so undoubtedly they will be scanning in.

So, folks killed last night. I think Molly had her neck broken. Which girl was stabbed, and did they just leave her there?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Asian potential was killed -- I think she was the one with the broken neck, and Molly was the one stabbed. Poor mangled Rona. I shrieked.

And damn it! I still cry when potentials fight. I'm such a sap.
