I loved this episode. I made Paul rewind the tape so we could rewatch. I'll watch again tonight. Tom Lenk was incredible.
The students being turned into Bringers really threw me.
I'm, as you know, spoiled, but I'd managed to either skip that or miss it, because it threw me, too.

Man, not a post since Wednesday night. It's like half of us are out of town or something.
After a very productive day off yesterday. Today was the Day of Sloth. I had lots of things to do, and a paper to finish for Monday that required quality time at the library, but I got up, showered, dressed and decided I couldn't face the snow another day. (Even though it was beautiful out.) So I turned up the heat in my bedroom to a tropical level that I don't think my thermostat has previously seen, shut the door, and got in bed. The cats and I sacked out until three. With the sun and the heat, I could almost imagine it wasn't winter.
And you know what? I am not feeling even remotely guilty about it. I've managed to get two of the things scratched off my to do list, and I'm about to tackle the kitchen. I will probably hate myself tomorrow at 2 AM when i'm still working on my archives paper, but je ne regrette rien.
Go team sloth! I, myself, slept all day. Actually, I didn't sleep all that well, which sucks since I have to work all night.
The Quiet American is playing at the Oxford. I'd really like to see it. Has anyone gone?
I want to see it too. It's gotten amazing reviews. Apparently it almost wasn't released after 9/11 because of the supposed anti-American sentiment in it, and some journalists started talking it up so much after seeing it at the Toronto FF, that Miramax changed their minds.
I've only got Monday and Friday night free this week... Monday is out, obviously. I wonder if it will still be around come Friday?
I think Buffy is a repeat this Monday, isn't it? I think that's what Megan said.
ClickTV doesn't mention if Buffy is new or not, but there is an episode at 8, and another one at 9.
8 and 9? Huh. Weird. (why oh why won't Global just fucking air 'Serenity'?)
This week was new, right? So I think that it's rerun Buffy and new Angel this week. Okay.. Maybe I'll go Monday.
