It's called Pseudocide, when you kill off your online personna via rumor.
Used to be popular way back in the early days of hacking, especially when you became known for something illegal and the authorities started sniffing around.
This application of it though... That's just /sad/. It's bad enough when someone drama-queens themselves out for pity, but that's taking it a little far. Some people really need to just not exist in my reality.
RahRah, I htink some other Buffistas have experienced the same thing in the X-files Fandom, where someone faked their own death, then began posting as the widowed BF of the person. There are lots of crazy people in the world, and a lot of them are online.
Hey, has anyone picked up the Angel DVD's yet? I was at the mall, and I didn't see them in either place I looked for them. (MusicWorld and Walmart.)
I ordered them from Rogers, and I do believe that Megan got them for a Valentine's present. I don't know where B bought them, though.
Oh, man, did I tell you guys that disc two of my Season 3 BtVS DVDs was damaged? I called Rogers and they sent me a replacement - really very quick and wonderful service - but one of the discs was loose and got all scratched up. Do you even have to ask which disc? It's in even worse shape than the original one. So now I have to get the replacement replaced. Rogers is going to love me.
Elena, I have this to add to your list of questions.
How did Spike find that demon so quickly?
Good one.
And does Buffy
really
want pre-soul, pre-love Spike?
And why wouldn't Buffy know TTFN?
Sue, you can borrow my Angel tape if you want.
I'll have to rewatch because I'm not sure why she didn't take the extra powers. Would she turn into the First Slayer? Become subhuman?
I think she said something about it making her less human. So, yeah, losing her humanity.
Here's another question:
Given that Wood was four when Momma!Slayer died, why was he the one who made the decision not to pass on an important Slayer heirloom?
