Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Ha! That's funny. If we're around and any local Buffistas want to meet, we could all get together. It would depend on how busy you are with family stuff. Quite the coincidence.

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

It is an interesting bit of timing. Still not sure if I'll be making the trip to Texas, depends on how the cashflow looks after I get down to Virginia and do what's necessary on the car I'm getting. But I shall try. And I'll be online for updates and such.

Hullo, Atlantic Canadians! I'm coming to Halifax this Saturday for a job interview early next week. The prospective bosses have devised an insanely tight schedule for me for most of the 4 days I'll be there, but it looks like I'm gonna have Saturday afternoon/evening free. Any of the Haligonians who are free feel like getting together for a cup of coffee or something? Tell me about your fine city? Yapp about Buffy?

Profile addy's good if anyone's interested.

How about tabogganing down Citadel Hill? Anyone up for a Halifaxista sledding party as long as people are getting together?

I'd love to meet you Vonnie! I'd be be up for getting together for a little while. I'm not sure about the sledding for Saturday, though, Griff, it may be too much for my back just yet.

Sledding might be a bit much for my cold too. But it was mentioned at le Bistro, so I figured I'd throw the idea out there.

I would also like to get together, although my day is a little crowded. I'm free for a bit around supper-time, but I'm not sure of exact times. You guys can make plans and I'll come if I can.

Nifty-keen!

My time is fairly flexible on Saturday. I arrive 2 PM -ish, and am supposed to be staying in this hotel called Lord Nelson. Don't know whether that's convenient, location-wise.

I'm up for whatever the group wants, be it coffee, drinks or sledding, as long as it's not too late into the night.

Vonnie, the Lord Nelson is pretty central in the city, we can easily meet downtown. There's actually an all-right quiet pub on the main floor of the LN. Supper might be a good idea, since 'Ouise is free, and it would be a goo ditme ofr me, since the library closes at 5 or 6.
