I missed that she called them buffistas. But I was listening from the hall. (Literally, not figuratively.)
Maybe she's a lurker.
Sue, was that prof from Halifax the one that you met?
No, Michelle's a soc. prof at St. Mary's. I think she's abandoned Buffy for Degrassi studies anyway.
Ah, see, I have this problem where I can't listen to people talk on the radio because they are invariably stupid and cause me to bemoan the decline of human civilisation and/or poke my eyes out in a misguided attempt to block my hearing.
Buffy flat out said that one of the potentials would be called when she died. Wonder if that's now canon.
Man, why do they have to open that freaking can of worms again.
I really, really noticed the shout outs... Namechecking episodes Living Conditions and Gone. And the whole egg smell thing might have been a reference to Bad Eggs. There was at least one more, which I can't remember right now.
There was the reference to The Gift when Anya and ? commented that they never got the "we share the same blood" thing. I loved that. But what were the references to Living Conditions and Gone?
Buffy said 'Living Conditions' when talking about how vampires live. And, uh, when W, A, & X discovered that Dawn wasn't in her room Xander (I think) said 'Gone'. Okay, that last one is maybe stretching a little, but it stuck out for me.

Elena, you are me. I hate "The Man on the Street" kind of interviews. And when people talk with that "14 year old girl trying to sound intellegent" inflection, it drives me batty!
Megan, it's nice that we are sharing the brain. Listen, when are you going to be free? We missed you at dinner.
Listen, when are you going to be free?
Between January 29 and February 10 I'll be relatively free.
Kennedy had a good line. After Rona (?) was talking about the stake being the best weapon and said "there nothing like holding a piece of wood", Kennedy said "you lost me there."

Oh, OK. I thought you meant references to the episodes themselves, not just the titles.
Plotwise, this was lame. Nothing really
happened
other than us learning that Dawn is not a SiW and Amanda is. I rolled my eyes when Dawn decided to go off and fight a baddie on her own. Did she have a death wish? Was she trying to prove herself? It was one of those annoying plot devices you expect to see only on non-ME shows.
That said, I still liked this better than the last two. I thought the SiW actors have improved markedly and there were a bunch of quotables. And the Xander/Dawn scene at the end had me shedding a few tears.
Plus - Clem!!!
Xander at the end of the episode was the only thing that made this worth my time. Though there was the ever-present hope that Dawn would die horribly.
