I think that if I hadn't switched to a double major and a history advisor, I probably would have been told to fill out the form at the start of the year, and then everything would have been taken care of. As it was, my advisor had enough trouble remembering I was a fourth year when we were going over what classes I still needed to take. I'm not surprised that he forgot about graduation.
'Course, now that I'm remembering how deadly boring graduation ceremonies are when you're in them, I'm not sure that I mind.
Elena, why didn't you go? Scheduling problem/out of town, or just didn't give a damn?
Elena was an unwitting slut. I, on the other hand, am purposefully palindromic.
I skipped my high school ceremony for the "I never want to set foot in that school again" reason, but I did go to my other two graduations. The first (BA) was unbearable because it was held in the gymnasium with about 2000 grads. My second was smaller since I graduated at the September convocation.
Hey, did anyone else see Principal Wood on CSI: Miami?
I am so far behind in all the threads so you all may have seen this before.
The First's Journal
I fell asleep at my Uni grad. It was one of the most tedious things I have ever attended,
and
they pronounced my name wrong. I think I didn't technically graduate from my theatre school. And I have no recollection of my HS grad, except that, again, they pronounced by name wrong.
Man, that Jon. You make him an honourary Canadian and he starts taking all the good numbers!
That's
not very Canadian!
Elena, STOP ALL ANGEL TAUNTNG!!! I just checked on the Canoe.ca TV Listings and it's not on this Monday on ASN. It is on Space on Thursday, so I hope it's the new episode, but we're going to be a week behind on ASN.
they pronounced my name wrong
Alas, me too. Maybe I should just change my name to May-gan.
Looks like Ouise's conspiracy theory paid off - even though they are likely not running it on Monday since the satellite feed isn't available until Tuesday.
It's not my fault! Don't look at me!
My BSc graduation was actually pretty fun (despite being at the same school as the one that put Sue to sleep). It was in All Saint's Cathedral, and although my name was pronounced wrongly, it was during a speech about me that referred to "the music of the spheres". And I got two shiny medals.
