You notice it doesn't say "Tara (Amber Benson, right)," just "Tara (Amber Benson)"
They know it's not Tara. Why they chose NOT to put a picture of the actual kiss they're referring to is beyond me, as it's a much less annoying kiss. Due to the desire to kill being lower.
Though I guess the average reader probably doesn't care.
From the article:
Willow (Alyson Hannigan) and Tara (Amber Benson) - already a couple - kissed for the first time in this episode. They were together for two-and-a-half seasons, the longest lesbian relationship for main characters on a network series.
Encouraging, that Joss showed that same-sex relationships can be long-term.
My TiVo caught
Dead Things
the other day, so we watched it. I still get sad when I see poor Tara. I'd forgotten what a strong episode that was. I got so tired of reaction to Spuffy in the fandom, that even though I knew, intellectually, that DeKnight acquitted himself well, I really didn't remember how well, until I saw it again.

And can help one overcome addiction to witchcraft, don't forget that valuable lesson.
In "Hush," just before Buffy discovers the guy with his heart cut out, she's walking down the silent hallway, and a man is breaking up a small fight. He looks a lot like Kelly Manners. Is that Kelly Manners?
I checked out the article today and found this.
Correction: February 11, 2005, Friday:
A picture in The Arts yesterday with a chart listing television shows that portray women kissing, to increase ratings during sweeps weeks, misidentified the actress being kissed by Alyson Hannigan in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." She was Iyari Limon; Amber Benson is another actress kissed by Ms. Hannigan in the series.

I don't know why this is cracking me up so much!
I don't know why this is cracking me up so much!
Probably the same reason it does me, the unspoken suggestion of "the lucky hussy."
