This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Don't know if the Scooby gang saw it. I would doubt it since she got bit in the middle of the big fight.

I'd assume that they didn't, because Cordelia didn't think anything of Harmony showing up in L.A, did she?

Trust my rage

Personally, I don't think the writers thought about it until they decided they wanted someone for Spike and they wanted Mercedes back on the show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So the non sweeps deaths look cursorily like Jesse, Luke, Flutie, Darla, two Buffys, The Anointed One, Cordelia (Wish), Snyder, Larry and Harmony.

Of those, season finales account for Buffy, Snyder, Larry and Harmony.

Huh.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

But Season 3 finale got pushed back from when it was supposed to be. Was the original intended airdate during May?

Trust my rage

I'm curious since I came to Buffy late. What year was the "biggest"? (as in most buzz, most viewers, etc.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Buffy 12/8/1998 The Wish

Cordelia 12/8/1998 The Wish

There's a lot more dying in that ep. Oz kills Vamp!Willow. Angel gets killed...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think Season 2 had the most sustained buzz, although the switch to UPN generated a lot of meta buzz about the show's circumstances. Am I right in thinking that Season 3 was the most watched?

I didn't want to include Vamp!Willow -- she's new, and Willow's death was offscreen. Angel, OTOH, should be up there. Who else?

Vamp!Xander?

One of the Cordettes gets run through the juicer.

What is even happening?

I think the very most watched episode ever was the first episode of Season 6, Bargaining. Seasonwise, I think season 3 was the biggest but I no longer know where to find that information. The K*tten board might have some of it.
