Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I had major issues with Fred and found parts of A Hole in the World terribly anvilly, but the damn thing worked for me anyway, because of the overwhelming Wes-angst. Even the stupid musical montage, which I hated initially, has been growing on me with re-watch. I feel so cheap.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The choreography of Fred singing/Lorne reading/Fred spitting up blood was superbrilliant.

Trust my rage

Joss on Buffy was almost always perfect for me. I think Joss writes Buffy and Spike better than anyone.

Joss on Angel - not as good. I forget the name, but ep1 of Angel S5 was totally flat for me. I couldn't believe Joss wrote it. Also, props to the actors, but A Hole in the World was flat for me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, how did you guys feel about Puppet-Angel?

It rocked the Casbah

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Love both "Storyteller" and "Smile Time" a bunch.

Jane's my second favorite writer on BtVS.

Fury or mere would be my second fav on Angel, after Tim.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

For me it would depend on how you define favorite writer. Jane's "Rm w/a Vu" is my favorite Angel episode, and I think I liked "Smile Time" as much as "Reunion" in an apples and orages way, but based on overall body of work Tim definitely takes the prize for me.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

SMILE TIME was Edlund, right? Despite the actual presence of Fury in the episode.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

That is correct. (With some help from Joss, IIRC)

I think Joss wrote the non-puppet continuity scenes (Gunn and the doctor, Wes and Fred, etc.).
