I think I'll watch Pangs!
I finished off Season 7 this morning. (Actually, I finished off the special features this morning and the shows late last night.)
I can't believe that Joss said that he had been intending to bring Tara back and when they couldn't decided to go in a completely different direction and create a character as much unlike her as possible (i.e., Kennedy.) I had never heard that they were going to bring Amber Benson back in season 7 -- I mean other than for CWDP and I have to say, that as much as I like Tara and AB, it works so much better for me that she stayed dead.
(Joss said this in the commentary for
Chosen.
)
I'm up for the schmoop, so Pangs will not be the only episode I'm planning on watching tonight.
Nope, lexine, we did the
Something Blue
schmoopfest, too. My daughter and I both agree that's when Spike really fell for Buffy.
Actually, I was thinking of watching Angel after Pangs.
The episode "Angel" from season 1?
Oooh, yeah.
I Will Remember You.
The Angel episode that came after
Pangs
on Buffy. It's the only time I could really see any chemistry between SMG and DB. It makes me cry every time.
No, "I will remember you" which was aired right after Pangs.
Oh, that's right -- there's that odd cross-over on "Pangs" and then the good one on Angel right after it.
Hmm, how did I not know that Amber Tamblyn was Dawn's friend Genesis in "All the Way"?
(Having watched all of season 7, I decided to do kind of a backwards marathon -- so I'm watching season 6 now. I'll see how far I get. I have a feeling that once I receive the RotKEE this whole crazy idea will be derailed.)
Last night my friend sais she wanted to watch some Buffy. I scurried around my house like I was getting ready to 'save' someone, Mandy Moore "Saved" style. I ended up screening Pangs, Band Candy, Hush, and OMWF. I've told her that if she's interested in continuing her education, we'd do some every week.
