In yesterday's paper, there was a long article about a man who had bankrupted much of a small town by siphoning off more than $6 million for his own use from investors' funds, plus he was found to have been packing high interest loans to the poor and elderly with fraudulent extra charges. (He recently committed suicide rather than face charges.) One person described him as "diabolical." A person who lost all her savings said, "If Ben Stewart were alive right now, I think I'd pinch his head off."
Why am I telling you this? Because of this:
