"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I also would have enjoyed Xander being the gay one. Apparently Joss considered it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

They really were. And as much as I like Oz, I was disappointed that Willow chose to go back to him after her and Xander's little "affair" was revealed. On the other hand, I can see how the rebuilding the trust aspect of her and Oz's relationship and the "cheating is bad" message were probably better choices narratively.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I used to think so as well, but after seeing how they handled Andrew it's probably for the best that they went with Willow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You don't think Xander has more in common with Willow than with Andrew?

I hadn't considered it til just now, but it may well be that Willow and Andrew have more in common than either has with Xander.

I just don't think they handled Andrew and his crushes very well (i.e., in a way that didn't make me want to flee the room) and suspect that they would have had to dance around the issue so much that Xander would have ended up even more marginalized than he did.

I figured that Andrew was played for straight up comic relief for a side of pathos -- and that none of the main characters would be treated similarly.

Art Crawl!!!

MT's done another fashion shoot.

I'm not sure that should be allowed. Or, how old is she now?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Ummm . . . . That link is seriously messed up. The URL is "www.bildercommuni-" - I don't think that's right.
