I read recently that ASH is going to be starring in the BBC series, Monarch of the Glen, in its upcoming season. He'll be in the last four episodes playing a (presumably dashing) millionaire.

I can't wait.

Me too. I've been watching this show on DVD through Netflix and I've really gotten into it. I don't have BBC America, though, so who knows when I'll get to see the new stuff.

Did any folks here watch MI-5?

I just rented the DVD's a little while back, and was most thrilled to see ASH in one of the episodes. Took about 3 minutes for me to stop saying "GILES!!!", but after that I was completely taken by the character he was playing, which was definitely not Giles. Different accent, even. It was a great episode.

But man, the ending of that season pretty much devastated me. Anyone know if they did another season?

Trust my rage

I think there was only one season. I'm not sure, but I remember being disappointed (about the future for the series).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A new season starts on A&E in ... January? Yup, January.

eta: This is the third season coming up.

That's good to hear.

(I just knew I should have checked before simply remembering.)

Art Crawl!!!

What was one season in the US was two seasons in the UK.

January 9th.

I cannot wait.

A&E has a promo up.

I think that I missed much of the last season of MotG. I suppose I could see if I can netflix it.
