What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Matt, Elf is really good. Seriously. I was surprised by how good it was. Very funny, and not just stupid-funny.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Do you find yourself wishing the maw of Hell would open up underneath Will Ferrell and suck him down to his richly-deserved final fate? If not, we may have a different emotional response to movies built around him, regardless of the quality of writing or direction.

I can't even.

Snerk.

Somehow I suspected Matt would not be encouraged that Elf was not just stupid-funny.

Lookit me, back after three weeks or so . . .

We need to make up an Angel drinking game.

Everytime someone utters the word, "champion."

Everytime you feel a sense of rage toward Saint!Cordy.

Should I infer that one is to chug when both of the above conditions are met simultaneously?

There was a six-month period with no moment in which I didn't feel a sense of rage toward Saint!Cordy. I'd have to get an alcohol IV drip to play this version of the game.

No posts in a couple of days, and Lee mentioned I should post this here:

We were watching Galaxy Quest last night, and Robin Sachs plays the bad guy, Sarris, which led me to the question:

What is your favorite ME alum non-ME appearance, and why?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Well, The Mayor on The West Wing was pretty shocking, in the same way as Holland Manners on ER- you keep wanting to tell the president that leaving the mayor in charge is the best way to ensure that the Capitol gets blowed up, and the ER docs not to listen to Hollands assesment of a patient because he's EEEEVIIIIL!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was excited to see Gavin on Enterprise, but then nothing happened with the character.

Hmmm. More thought required.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Gina Torres on Cleopatra 2525 - duh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wait, so we can use citings from before they joined a Jossverse?
