I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I've got to say, I'm amazed and kind of gratified at the response the finale's getting from the media at large.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Feh. All the media seems to be doing is playing the crappy Music-Hell Branch song and showing clips of a Buffy who's clearly forgotten about the importance of the pony tail.

Riley is definitely a potato. And I gather Cordelia's icon is one of those necklace holder thingies?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I thought that Cordy's necklace was the present that Xander got for her, unless I'm really mis-remembering here.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Riley is definitely a potato.

If they were going to celebrate his Iowa roots, should've been an ear of corn.

And TB, my to-do list for tonight includes an e-mail answering your question.

The evil is this way?

And I gather Cordelia's icon is one of those necklace holder thingies?

I thought it was the locket that Xander gave her for Valentine's Day (Bewitched, Bothered, Bewildered).

The moderators have a whole Riley Potato-Nose theme - that's why the potato reference.

brillig

Just keep in mind, folks, as depressing as today is, think how much worse it would be if we weren't getting "Angel" next year.

Ah - thanks Narrator. And thanks Fred as well.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Then again, with corn, there's that whole cornhole thing, so potato has fewer connotations.
