She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Her Simpsons appearence didn't really wow me either.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I wonder if the BtVS actors will have trouble "regressing" their characters.

If wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

TVGuide just put this up today. Scroll down about half-way for the Buffy "news". Anyone know what this is about?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Probably the story of the woman who is doing the Buffy character voice work for the pilot of Buffy the Animated Series.

That doesn't seem like "major scoopage", but it could be. Maybe we could get so lucky and learn that the Animated Series has actually been picked up.

Up with the sun

It says the news runs under a picture of a "dark-haired hunk," so I'd guess either David Boreanaz or Nicholas Brendan has found new work, possibly even Buffy-or-Angel-related work.

Well, it says "dark-haired hottie". And the woman doing the voice work for The Animated Series is a "dark-haired hottie."

Oh, duh. But it also says, "a certain," which implies it would be someone we'd recognize. Would we recognize the VO person?

Maybe Charisma Carpenter got a series.

Nope... there's no way we'd recognize the VO woman. She's been on a soap opera or two, but she's no one recognizable from the Buffy-verse.
I was thinking that it could be Faith... but what news would that be? "Tru Calling" got picked up for a second season.

What is even happening?

LISTEN UP, BUFFY FANS: The new issue of TV Guide magazine — on sale Thursday — features some major Buffy the Vampire Slayer scoopage. Here's a hint: The item appears on page 14 directly under the photo of a certain dark-haired hottie.

Here's the whole quote, just so people can know what the quibbling is about.
